My first rough ideas drafted out in After Effects, only a few seconds each!
The first one is inspired by "the Pen story" which uses thousands of photos linked together showing a mans progression through life (see here - http://islingtontbm.wordpress.com/2009/11/15/the-pen-story/). I took a few photos whilst moving around my room and printed them, arranged them on the table, adding one whilst taking a shot. Effectively a frame within a frame!

The second experiment is an entirely digital pursuit, which is meant to make reference to the music related activities of the Mill by making a kind of 'graphic equaliser' like you find on music players and recording studios.

The third one is what I like to call the "Pong" idea and is a fairly minimalist sequence involving three bars moving around the screen, bouncing off each other. Its meant to represent the companies in the mill which use computers heavily in their work.
