Following feedback on the original ideas, it was agreed it was too clean and didn't really reflect the character of Islington Mill or its residents. Not really sure what else to do with it, I opened After Effects and tried to make them a bit weird. The first idea involved making it more "dirty" by duplicating the effect layer and overlaying it randomly like a poor quality VHS from the 80s.
The second added a yellow square to the sequence, bouncing off the bars of the equaliser before falling off. I'm not sure if I really like it to be honest and may consider scrapping the idea.
